SystemOne announces four new countries rolling out GxAlert®

SystemOne, a connected diagnostics company developing data-driven healthcare insight and solutions, announces 4 new GxAlert® implementations in Africa and Eastern Europe.

SystemOne develops networking and software solutions to rapidly move and utilise data from infectious disease diagnostics. SystemOne users receive over 40,000 instant alerts from diagnostic devices each month and benefit from a host of supervisory and quality-improving features, all designed to speed time to treatment for patients and improve programme effectiveness for health ministries.

GxAlert, SystemOne’s first connected diagnostics platform, is used in over 37 countries, primarily to move TB and MDR-TB results and information, but the platform is also used for other diseases, such as HIV and Ebola. The new GxAlert implementations include: Ukraine, Malawi, Mozambique and Ghana.

Each country is expected to connect between 50 and 130 diagnostic devices, with an estimated total of 308 new instruments to GxAlert within the next few months.

The addition of GxAlert in these high burden developing countries (HBDC) represents a commitment to moving diagnostic results quickly, getting patients onto treatment faster and working towards internally supported goals to fight TB and MDR-TB.

“With the adoption of GxAlert globally, we are beginning to see dramatic system improvements in numerous countries which include improved inventory management, lower error and invalid rates, and advanced patient time to treatment,” said Brad Cunningham, Vice President of Customer Solutions. “These four new countries are benefiting from the latest version of GxAlert, which we’re improving all the time, even as we develop our new connectivity platform, Aspect.”

As SystemOne prepares to launch its newest platform, Aspect, all existing GxAlert customers, including those with in-country servers, can receive the latest updates, extra features, ongoing training and improved layouts to the GxAlert platform at no additional cost.
