IBS Software a leading provider for travel, transportation and logistics

In September 2017, IBS completes 20 years in business. From its modest beginning in 1997, IBS today is a multi-national corporation with nearly 3,000 people from 20 nationalities, operating from 10 global locations and powering mission critical operations of some of the world’s best airlines, busiest airports, leading cruise lines, major travel distributors & hotels, and top oil & gas companies. IBS’ 200+ active customers include 10 of the 20 largest airlines, 4 of the 5 oil majors, over 80 of the biggest hotel chains and 30 top travel suppliers.

Over the years, IBS’ enterprise platforms (iFly, iFlight, iCargo, iTravel and iLogistics) have fast matured, gaining increased traction in the market, with domain-led software services complementing the value addition. Several state-of-the-art data centres have been set up across the globe for SaaS offerings. IBS has gained and retained the highest quality and security certifications and have won awards and recognitions for its contribution to the industry. In December 2015, PE major Blackstone invested USD 170 million in IBS for a minority shareholding.

“Twenty years is a long time. Few things remain constant over that period. But what has stayed the same include our core values, commitment to customers and impeccable corporate governance. The next five years will be a defining period for IBS. Our investments in R&D and the pursuit of strategic acquisitions will continue. We will consolidate our position as a strategic IT supplier to the TTL industry by providing innovative, differentiated platforms that will help our clients compete and lead in a digital world. As we celebrate a significant milestone, I would like to thank all our stakeholders for the twenty years of warmth, friendship, and support,” says VK Mathews, Founder & Executive Chairman, IBS.
