Region’s largest-ever Google CSI Lab supports innovators at GITEX

Fostering the next generation of regional innovators, about 150 people have attended the largest-ever Google CSI Lab in the Middle East and Africa at GITEX Technology Week 2015.

Participants met with Google employees from around the world to learn how to tackle complex problems and encourage an innovation culture within their own organisations using a user-centred, prototype-driven design process.

“Google CSI Lab is a Google Methodology to develop an innovation mindset inside any company. It gives a great opportunity for participants to tackle complex problems and foster a real innovation culture in their company or organisation. There is no real winner, but just a fun competition to get people excited to go through the process and better understand how they could implement it in their own organisation,” said Abdel Wahed Bendaoua, Google for Work.

Google CSI is powered by Google for Work, and co-sponsored by Gulf Air, and cloud and mobility company Brams.
