International Annual Partner Conference hosted by InfiNet

InfiNet Wireless recently held its 7th International Annual Partner Conference in Athens, Greece. The two-day event, which brought together more than 70 strategic partners from 24 countries including Algeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, was an opportunity for InfiNet to share its strategic direction and updated product roadmap with partners as well as recognise key achievers for their contributions over the past twelve months.

The highlight of the conference was the announcement of a record number of new projects deployed successfully in all corners of the world, particularly in the Middle East. Notable among them were the provision of high-capacity networks for CCTV and homeland security, remote asset monitoring and management in the Oil and Gas sector, as well as rolling stock and train management. Commenting on these successes, Dmitry Okorokov, CEO, InfiNet Wireless, said, “The results from this year’s conference show just how committed and involved our partners are in the promotion and deployment of our solutions in various countries and market sectors. Our sustainable success relies heavily on all our channel partners and we’re excited to continue working with them to produce the very best-in-class wireless solutions for the marketplace.”

The conference also provided a platform for InfiNet to share strategic updates and enable partners to further enhance their knowledge about the InfiNet solutions. Kamal Mokrani, Global Vice President shared the 2015 financial results, the highlight being the 28% year-on-year growth. Dmitry Okorokov, CEO, shared with the Athens audience the company’s most recent strategic investments, specifically mentioning the doubling of headcount and the opening of a brand new production facility in Ekaterinburg, Russia, which has allowed InfiNet to increase its production floor space and implement testing and measuring procedures. In his presentation, Andrey Koynov, the company’s CTO, detailed the product roadmap, with greater emphasis on the company’s flagship InfiLINK XG, a family of point-to-point solutions. Following the presentations, break-out workshops were arranged in order to address specific topics such as wireless network planning, network management systems and professional services.

As part of the two-day event, InfiNet also recognised several partners for their outstanding contributions to the company’s continued growth. Partners from the Middle East took home the two most coveted awards – Eurotel from Saudi Arabia was recognised as the ‘Best International Partner of the Year’ and HTC’s deployment of InfiNet solutions in Oman’s demanding oil fields was recognised as the ‘Most Strategic Project of the Year’

“I want to thank InfiNet Wireless for hosting such an informative, interactive and fun-filled conference. Being recognised as the Best International Partner of the Year was definitely a nice surprise and is a testament to the extremely strong relationship and the success we have shared with InfiNet in the region,” said Fouad Badawi, Director, Eurotel. “Between all the investments that InfiNet is making, not only at its headquarters, but also regionally, in terms of solutions and decentralised resources, I am confident that together, we are poised for much greater success in the next few years”.
