Oracle Saudi Arabia has signed an MoU with Bab Rizq Jameel, part of Community Jameel to support the 2nd Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Enterprise Forum startup competition in Saudi Arabia.
The competition aims to help social and business start ups develop a competitive digital ecosystem. Oracle will host a series of technology sessions; mentor contestants and participate as a guest speaker at the forum. Startups will also be introduced to the latest Oracle digital solutions to drive innovation and business growth.
“With MIT EF Saudi, our objective is to create an interactive platform to connect high potential entrepreneurs with incubation and funding programs, besides also providing mentorship and training opportunities to support their growth” said Hashem Daghestani, GM Business Development and Entrepreneurship programs. “Partnering with Oracle and other entrepreneurial minded organisations will enable local entrepreneurs to learn and benefit from their experiences and valuable services.”
The MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) focuses on attracting high potential social and business start ups. Founded in 2015 with the goal of promoting and enriching the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, MITEF aims to celebrate and support all potential startups and entrepreneurs in the Kingdom through the Startups and Ideas Competition.
