GITEX gets underway at World Trade Centre in Dubai

Technological visionaries and pioneers have descended on Dubai to witness the latest state-of-the-art innovations at GITEX.

The Middle East technology showcase is now officially open and ends on Thursday.

Gitex Technology Week – along with Gitex Future Stars – is held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event is supported by the brightest and best organisations leading global digital transformation, bringing game-changing technology solutions to the Middle East.

They include Microsoft, Cisco, SAP, Dark Matter, Xerox, Google and Oracle.

More than 147,000 attendees and 4,400 exhibitors are expected from nearly 100 countries at the event which covers nearly 93,000 square metres.

With a spotlight on frontier technology that will transform corporations into global powerhouses, visitors will experience the latest in blockchain, artificial intelligence, robotics and the Internet of Things at the 37th edition of the event.
