Avaya appoints new general manager for Dubai and Northern Emirates

Avaya has announced the promotion of Sheikha Naamah Al Qassimi to the position of General Manager for Dubai and the Northern Emirates region.

In this role, Al Qassimi will work closely with key customers to accelerate innovation in the UAE and deliver superior communications experiences.

An industry expert, Al Qassimi has held a number of senior roles at Avaya since joining in 2005, including Business Development Manager for the UAE, where she led the implementation of communications and collaboration solutions with major government, healthcare, and education accounts.

As General Manager for Dubai and the Northern Emirates region, Al Qassimi will ensure that Avaya’s technology strategy is aligned with local government initiatives and delivering solutions that meet regional customers’ business objectives.
