The MoU was signed by Hassan Ibrahim Al Asmakh, Vice President and CEO at Regency Group Holding, and Ghassan Kosta, Country Manager – Qatar at Dell Technologies, at the Dell Technologies Forum held at St. Regis Hotel in Doha.

Themed ‘Make it Real’, this one-day free event brought together Dell Technologies’ seven technology businesses and business leaders to help organisations in Qatar drive national and business transformation initiatives.

Qatar’s Vision 2030 heavily emphasises on economic development being an engine that drives progress. Achieving this objective greatly hinges on Qatar’s ability to build a sustainable business environment – one that can attract more investments.

As a result, Regency Group Holding wanted to empower their real estate and retail customers with the right technology solutions to help enrich and personalise customer experience.

These purpose-built solutions are designed to help organisations stay competitive, accelerate the cycle of innovation and better engage with today’s connected customers with highly personalised and seamless experiences.

Additionally, the MoU states development of a command and control centre to help Regency Group Holding expand their capabilities and unlock new enterprise value.

Strengthening this significant collaboration, Regency Group Holding and Dell Technologies will not only develop an awareness of technology advancements, but also offer organisations in Qatar a roadmap to becoming the hallmarks of the economy.

Hassan Ibrahim Al Asmakh, Vice President and CEO at Regency Group, said:

“Digitisation is unlocking new levels of socio-economic prosperity. However, in order to capitalise on these opportunities, organisations in Qatar, big or small, need to adopt and adapt to advancements in technology.

“Therefore, as we progress in our journey to modernise our business, we wanted to empower our real estate and retail customers with the right technology that can help them harness the power of innovation. And, we hope that our collaboration with Dell Technologies reflects this commitment.”

Ghassan Kosta, Country Manager – Qatar at Dell Technologies, said: “We believe that in this era of digitisation, IT is no longer just a business function, but business itself, thus Digital Transformation is a clear imperative to power human progress.
