RIC Consulting named Qlik Elite partner in Africa

Qlik, a provider of intuitive platform solutions for self-service data visualisation, guided analytics applications, embedded analytics and reporting has recently upgraded local company, RIC Consulting, to Elite partner status – the highest tier of partnership possible.

The announcement indicates Qlik’s recognition of RIC’s dedication to quality, commitment to Qlik solutions and devotion to enhanced customer experiences. To achieve Elite status, Qlik partners must attain certain milestones, including revenue targets, advanced training and organisation wide accreditation and certification (among others). These achievements must be maintained and their foundations built on year-on-year.

As one of only four Qlik Elite partners in South Africa, RIC’s team of experts will enjoy a much closer working relationship with Qlik International. This will ensure it continues to drive customer satisfaction across the region, with more comprehensive access to high-quality information, resources, support, and services.

According to Paulo Fernandes, Senior Account Executive at RIC, this achievement is also largely attributed to RIC’s unwavering growth throughout an incredibly challenging 2020. “Due to our unprecedented growth despite the COVID-19 period, we outperformed many other organisations. Qlik has selected RIC as an Elite Partner because we have shown that we are capable of working (and excelling) in extreme situations and we empower our customers to do the same.”

Dawn De Raedt, Owner and Founder of RIC, attributed this prestigious upward move in the Qlik Partner rankings to the RIC team. “Over the last two decades, I’ve watched RIC and its team grow in every way. This achievement comes down to the team that we’ve built, the calibre of employees that we’ve attracted. The company’s world-class Qlik Support Desk was also noted as a positive, being backed by the right software, processes and people. This support desk is managed by a dedicated staff complement of five, using industry recognised support desk software.
