{"id":22980,"date":"2018-12-04T12:40:24","date_gmt":"2018-12-04T12:40:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/africa\/?p=22980"},"modified":"2018-12-07T12:04:18","modified_gmt":"2018-12-07T12:04:18","slug":"iress-expands-the-number-of-integrations-available-to-clients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/africa\/2018\/12\/04\/iress-expands-the-number-of-integrations-available-to-clients\/","title":{"rendered":"IRESS expands the number of integrations available to clients"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IRESS has announced that clients will be able to easily allow third party software providers to directly access and integrate with XPLAN.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement is part of IRESS Open, which will see IRESS expand the number of integrations available to clients by making access to IRESS\u2019 existing APIs simpler and easier.<\/p>\n<p>Under IRESS Open, clients will be able to integrate XPLAN with third party applications in two ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Standard integrations<\/strong> &#8211; a new approach where clients can directly engage with third party providers and integrate XPLAN to a third-party application simply and directly. These integrations will facilitate the transfer of data with the third-party application, rely on a clients\u2019 permission and do not require product development<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom integrations<\/strong> &#8211; continuing IRESS\u2019 existing approach of comprehensively integrating third party and client software. This approach sees IRESS and the third-party provider working together to develop and embed functionality within the user interface<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A range of standard integrations are already well advanced for clients using XPLAN including financial modelling tools, risk profiling and portfolio analytic applications.<\/p>\n<p>Aaron Knowles, IRESS\u2019 Group Executive &#8211; Product, said the combination of standard and custom integrations will provide increased choice for clients seeking integrations with third parties.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIRESS has a rich history of leading custom integrations with third party providers from fintechs to large providers such as Microsoft,\u201d said Knowles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese comprehensive integrations will remain an important part of what we provide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the same time, we are experiencing increased demand from clients who want to be able to directly connect a third-party application to their IRESS product &#8211; without product development work needed to be undertaken.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStandard integrations will make it simpler and easier for third party applications to be available to clients and users through XPLAN and, over time, to more of our products.
