Mimecast Limited<\/a>, a\nleading email and data security company, <\/a>has introduced Mimecast Threat\nIntelligence which offers customers a deeper understanding of the cyberthreats\ntheir organisations face. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nnew features are designed to give organisations access to threat data and\nanalytics specific to their overall organisation, offering a more granular view\nof the attacks Mimecast has blocked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mimecast Threat Intelligence dashboard\nhighlights end-users who are most at-risk, malware detections, malware origin\nby geo-location, Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and malware forensics based on\nstatic and behavioral analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This offers customers a community-based, tailored threat intelligence that is specific to their organisation. The data is consolidated into a user-friendly view and is also available for integration into an organisation\u2019s security ecosystem through the Threat Feed API. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This targeted threat intelligence provides greater visibility and insight to security professionals, enabling them to more easily respond and remediate against threats and malicious files. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cybersecurity landscape changes daily and attackers are constantly changing their techniques to avoid detection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Mimecast\u2019s recent The State of Email Security Report 2019<\/a><\/em>, 94% of organisations saw phishing attacks in the last 12 months and 61% said it was likely or inevitable that they would be hit with an email-borne attack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IT and security teams are often\noverwhelmed by the volume of information they need to track and if the\nintelligence they need to proactively defend their organisation is buried,\ntheir defence becomes less effective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
