Egypt\u2019s Technology Innovation and\nEntrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of ITIDA, in collaboration with Huawei, has announced\nthe official launch of the \u2018Egypt App Cup\u2019 competition to offer university\nstudents and fresh graduates new opportunities to unleash their creativity and\ndevelop innovation skills in the technology field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition, which is part of\nHuawei\u2019s \u2018Shining Star\u2019 programme, aims at supporting Egyptian youths in\ngaining experience and vast ICT knowledge. It will also participants to engage\nin developing innovative mobile-based solutions and android applications that\nsupport transportation, health, and tourism sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEgypt App Cup competition seeks to\ntremendously impact our youth\u2019s future, as it opens up a path of promising\nopportunities,\u201d said Hossam Othman, TIEC Chairperson and ITIDA VP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt aims at nurturing the young minds, boosting their creativity,\nand enriching their knowledge. This initiative also supports and meets our\nprimary goals of developing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in\nEgypt along with our mandate of building the capacities of young calibers on\nthe latest ICT technologies.\u201d said Hossam Othman, TIEC Chairperson and ITIDA\nVP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
