A driver visits the user\u2019s house,\ncollects the garments, and delivers them back, cleaned and ironed. This service\ncan be accessed via on-demand or monthly subscription options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first\nSouth African hubs will be in Cape Town (Newlands, City Bowl, Rondebosch and\nWoodstock) and Johannesburg (Fourways, Midrand and Sandton).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eloi G\u00f3mez,\nthe CEO of Mr Jeff, believes the service will take off rapidly in South Africa.\nAccording to &nbsp;research, 78% of people say\nthat laundry is their least favourite household chore, but they\u2019ve never had a\nchoice. The laundry-on-demand model is creating a new market, with an estimated\n60% of Mr Jeff customers never having used a laundry service before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOn-demand\nservices are one of the biggest lifestyle trends of recent years,\u201d said G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSouth\nAfrican consumers are used to being able to order food, or get a taxi, using an\napp. Now this business model is expanding to areas like cleaning and laundry,\nwhich allows people convenience and choice. It\u2019s also a major business\nopportunity for local entrepreneurs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00f3mez says\nthe typical franchise will recoup its investment within 19 months, with a\nprofit of around R45,000 a month after 12 months. Local franchisees will also\nreceive strong marketing and partner support from Jeff, with zero royalties and\nmarketing fees for the first year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith our digital approach and our subscription plans, we intend to change the traditional function of the laundry cleaning sector,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Jeff brand has proven successful to date, as the company\u2019s workforce has already grown to 500 direct and more than 3,500 indirect employees worldwide. Service options include on-demand solutions as well as monthly subscription.
