It will see the Promethean ActivPanel<sup> <\/sup>upgrade 26,000 existing school classrooms and installed in new &#8216;Intelligent Classrooms&#8217;, which will be constructed over the next three years to bolster the country&#8217;s education provision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presented to His Excellency,&nbsp;Abdel Fattah&nbsp;el-Sisi, President of&nbsp;Egypt, the Intelligent Classroom is a pioneering new modular solution that enables the efficient construction of fully equipped and modern learning environments. Developed by Promethean&#8217;s parent company, NetDragon Websoft Holdings, the Intelligent Classroom is a rapidly deployed solution that helps to reduce classroom density, increases the number of school buildings and uses technology to enhance the education process.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the &#8216;Education for All 2015\nNational Review&#8217;, commissioned and supported by UNESCO, the Egyptian Ministry\nof Education prioritised the improvement of the quality of education, leading\nto the upgrade strategy for its existing education estate and consultation on\nhow it could address a shortfall in the number of classrooms needed to meet the\nneeds of the population. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H.E Dr&nbsp;Tarek Shawki, Minister of\nEducation and Technical Education, said: &#8220;Our objective is to rapidly and\nsignificantly improve the quality of education provision, which in the modern\nworld demands a highly digital approach.
