Aimed at showcasing the latest fire and rescue products and services,\nFirexpo will add a new dimension to the 27-year Securex pedigree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Securex, which will be co-located with both A-OSH EXPO and Facilities Management\nExpo at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, is set to take place from June\n2 to 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs a tradeshow that has a long-standing history, it\u2019s important that we\ncontinually look for ways to keep Securex fresh and reflective of the greater\nindustry,\u201d said Sven Smit, Event Director at Specialised Exhibitions,\npart of the Montgomery Group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFirexpo will focus exclusively on suppliers representing the fire and\nrescue market, a critical component not only of security, but also within\nfacilities management and occupational health and safety (OHS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is in keeping with our \u20182020 Vision\u2019 theme for this year across the three expos. We\nare delighted to advise that Firexpo will be supported by the Fire Detection\nInstallers\u2019 Association (FDIA), which has a long-standing reputation of providing\nrepresentation and leadership to the fire detection and gaseous extinguishing\nsystem industries for more than 20 years. It is our opinion that the backing of\nFirexpo by the FDIA cements our planned initiatives for the introduction of the\nnew section to the local market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
