This agreement will allow us to accelerate our efforts to\nenable Digital Transformation in Kenya,\u201d said Michael Joseph, Chief Executive\nOfficer, Safaricom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition,\nSafaricom will be able to offer AWS services to East-African customers,\nallowing businesses of all sizes to quickly get started on AWS cloud and\naccelerate innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Safaricom also\nannounced the attainment of Advanced Consulting Partner status in the AWS\nPartner Network (APN), becoming one of the first APN members in East Africa.\nThe APN is the global partner programme for technology and consulting\nbusinesses who leverage AWS to build solutions and services for customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The APN helps\ncompanies build, market and sell their AWS offerings by providing valuable\nbusiness, technical and marketing support.
