Altibbi, the Middle East\u2019s first and largest digital health platform, has announced a new partnership with Egypt\u2019s Ministry of Health and Population, on the Blood Plasma Project to collect blood plasma and manufacture its derivatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Egypt\u2019s Ministry of Health and Population has announced a national project to establish blood plasma donations for medicine production. The project is part of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi\u2019s initiative to achieve self-sufficiency in plasma derivatives. The availability of plasma derivatives will contribute to the production of necessary medicines and help to treat various pathological conditions, including kidney, liver, blood and chronic diseases and treat burns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The agreement will see Altibbi Egypt provide free, unlimited medical consultations for all plasma donors for one full year to encourage Egyptian citizens to donate plasma. There is no maximum limit for medical consultations per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Altibbi, the largest Arabic medical encyclopaedia, will publish promotional information on its platform to encourage users to donate plasma at the centres to be announced by the Ministry of Health and Population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
