{"id":47504,"date":"2022-07-13T13:11:43","date_gmt":"2022-07-13T12:11:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/africa\/?p=47504"},"modified":"2022-07-21T12:44:09","modified_gmt":"2022-07-21T11:44:09","slug":"mpharma-launches-data-driven-insights-platform-to-empower-african-pharmacies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/africa\/2022\/07\/13\/mpharma-launches-data-driven-insights-platform-to-empower-african-pharmacies\/","title":{"rendered":"mPharma launches data-driven insights platform to empower African pharmacies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>mPharma, a pan-African healthcare technology company, has launched a new customer-centric product, \u2018Facility Insights<em>\u2019<\/em>, on its proprietary data management and pharmacy transformation tool, Bloom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The product empowers pharmacy owners with tailored data-driven pharmacy insights to solve operational problems and make more informed pharmacy management decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facility Insights is now launched in more than 300 pharmacies across Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Kenya, Malawi, and Rwanda, and is expected to be fully operational in all mPharma-partner pharmacies in nine African countries in the coming three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Shoukimas, Chief Product Officer, mPharma, who helped in the engineering of the new feature, said: \u201cPharmacies today suffer from two problems at opposite ends of a spectrum. Either they lack the data and analytics tools they need, are hungry to get it, but don\u2019t have the tools or training necessary to get it, or they have a glut of data but cannot leverage it to make better decisions. Facility insights is a key step forward in solving these and many other gaps in the pharmacist\u2019s data toolbelt. With key reporting in place, there will be plenty of opportunities for us to uncover actionable insights that help our pharmacists provide the best care possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith the launching of the Facility Insights module in Bloom, we enjoy having all the necessary highlights and analytics of our transactions, and this helps us to know how much our work is progressing. The analytics therein are accurate and on-point.
