{"id":2125,"date":"2020-10-15T10:23:46","date_gmt":"2020-10-15T09:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/apac\/?p=2125"},"modified":"2020-10-15T10:23:47","modified_gmt":"2020-10-15T09:23:47","slug":"zscaler-completes-australian-information-security-registered-assessors-program-assessment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/apac\/2020\/10\/15\/zscaler-completes-australian-information-security-registered-assessors-program-assessment\/","title":{"rendered":"Zscaler completes Australian Information Security Registered Assessors Program Assessment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Zscaler<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zscaler.com\/\">, <\/a>a leader in cloud security, has announced that it is the first cloud security and zero trust vendor to successfully complete an Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) Assessment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zscaler\u2019s IRAP Assessment signifies that the cloud platform, Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, and Zscaler solutions have been&nbsp;independently validated as being significantly compliant in support of Australian Government security policy. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IRAP assessment validates the organization to best support the Australian government as it strengthens public sector cloud security posture to protect employees and citizens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zscaler completed\u00a0IRAP\u2019s two security assessment stages, as dictated in the\u00a0Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM). The first stage included a security assessment which identified potential requirements for product security mitigation. A second stage assessed residual compliance focused\u00a0on\u00a0seeking evidence of compliance with and the effectiveness of security controls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Australian Government has been transitioning to cloud-first as a departmental strategy for several years seeking to reap the performance and cost benefits of using cloud resources.
