{"id":27940,"date":"2023-06-29T12:12:10","date_gmt":"2023-06-29T11:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/apac\/?p=27940"},"modified":"2023-07-12T12:44:26","modified_gmt":"2023-07-12T11:44:26","slug":"apac-it-leaders-doubt-digital-infrastructures-readiness-for-ai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/apac\/2023\/06\/29\/apac-it-leaders-doubt-digital-infrastructures-readiness-for-ai\/","title":{"rendered":"APAC IT leaders doubt digital infrastructure&#8217;s readiness for AI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>More than four in 10 (44%) APAC IT leaders say existing IT infrastructure is not fully prepared for the demands of AI, according to the <em>Equinix 2023 Global Tech Trends Survey<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey comes after a year of significant AI breakthroughs that saw the technology rapidly deployed in applications across both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeremy Deutsch, President, Asia-Pacific, Equinix, said: \u201cAs AI capabilities and use cases continue to build in momentum, organizations that are not equipped to harness the power of AI will see themselves losing out on a substantial competitive advantage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey confirmed AI uptake is on the rise across all industry sectors, with 83% of the APAC IT decision-makers polled seeking to benefit and already using or planning to use AI across multiple key functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizations are most likely to be using AI, or planning to do so, in IT operations (83%), cybersecurity (81%) and customer experience (78%).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More than four in 10 (44%) APAC IT leaders say existing IT infrastructure is not fully prepared for the demands of AI, according to the Equinix 2023 Global Tech Trends Survey.
