Dassault Syst\u00e8mes and its Australian partner MEMKO are bringing virtual twin technologies to Australia\u2019s ambitious University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) led iLAuNCH Trailblazer space program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partnership will use Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u2019 virtual twin workflows for the manufacturing and maintenance of spacecraft as part of the program to achieve the full spectrum of space industry capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both will play an active role in supporting the digitalization of composite manufacturing and upskilling of the Australian workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partnership with the iLAuNCH Trailblazer program is crucial to Australia\u2019s full spectrum space industry ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Virtual twin technologies will help develop advanced capabilities in the manufacture and maintenance of large satellites and design launch vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UniSQ\u2019s iLAuNCH Trailblazer four-year program is intended to help universities accelerate commercialisation of research with industry partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program comprises the Australian National University and the University of South Australia alongside more than 20 industry partners. It will also address the skills shortage in the space manufacturing sector by co-designing a comprehensive education and training program with MEMKO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By simulating the manufacturing and repair of complex composite components in the digital environment, Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u2019 solutions ensure that crucial operations in the aerospace value chain are shortened and made more efficient and productive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
