Snowflake has confirmed a collaboration with Cenitex that aims to provide a Data Platform for Victoria\u2019s departments and agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cenitex provides support and technology solutions to Victoria\u2019s public sector departments and delivers essential ICT services such as identity and network management, security and cloud services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Snowflake\u2019s built-in AI capabilities can be assessed and leveraged if and when a department or agency is ready to implement AI solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis speed of deployment will enable participating Victorian State Government entities to consolidate and enhance their data strategies while also enabling greater security and easier cross-department data sharing,\u201d said Cenitex CIO Scott Tivendale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSnowflake is cloud-agnostic, which makes it ideal for data strategies across Government entities, regardless of whether they\u2019re using AWS, Azure or legacy infrastructure to store data. This will also make data sharing much easier for those departments or agencies that wish to share critical data, regardless of where it\u2019s housed,\u201d Tivendale said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
