Joint venture has announced an investment plan of approximately\u00a0US$1 billion anchored by a 100-megawatt development in Chonburi province.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital Edge has announced a strategic joint venture with B.Grimm Power – one of\u00a0Thailand’s\u00a0foremost energy producers – to develop next-generation hyperscale and AI-ready data centre campuses across\u00a0Thailand\u00a0to meet surging digital infrastructure demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operating under the brand name Digital Edge DC,<\/em> the joint venture has announced an investment plan of approximately\u00a0US$1.0 billion, anchored by a 100-megawatt development in Chonburi province,\u00a0Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situated within Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the flagship project is set to serve as a critical hub for AI and cloud service providers expanding across Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thailand’s digital infrastructure market is booming. With data consumption, cloud adoption and AI and machine learning workloads expanding at record pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to recent industry reports,\u00a0Thailand’s\u00a0data centre market is projected to grow at over 25% CAGR through 2030 with AI-driven compute needs accelerating demand for scalable and energy-efficient facilities. The government has committed more than\u00a0US$2.7 billion\u00a0in incentives for data centre and cloud investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 100MW EEC project will offer high-density colocation, interconnectivity and hybrid cloud solutions tailored for hyperscalers, AI workloads and enterprise digital transformation. Construction will be fast-tracked to meet the urgent needs of global tech players scaling their AI infrastructure in\u00a0Southeast Asia, with target RFS in Q4, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
