On September 19, during HUAWEI CONNECT 2025, the Huawei Cloud Industry Summit, themed ‘Huawei Cloud: The AI Pioneer in Industry’, convened in Shanghai. Hundreds of senior executives and experts from a number of sectors attended the event. Huawei Cloud joined global leaders to share cutting-edge technologies and exemplary industry success stories. At the summit, Huawei Cloud unveiled a series of new industry solutions, accelerating intelligence and empowering AI pioneers for industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his opening address, Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Services, said: “AI is reshaping industries and our lives. To fully harness AI, businesses require platforms for data, models and applications to work together to generate new value and achieve the leap to intelligence. At Huawei Cloud, our AI capabilities have been proven practical in over 500 scenarios across more than 30 industries. Looking ahead, Huawei Cloud is ready to serve you with a solid cloud foundation for compute, drive your progress with data, model and application platforms and secure your AI journey with our practical expertise. Joy Huang, Vice President of Huawei Cloud, delivered a keynote speech titled, ‘Accelerating Intelligence with Huawei Cloud’. He shared insights on the development trends of the AI industry whilst highlighting Huawei Cloud’s technological advancements in cloud-native solutions, AI Compute Service, foundational models, industry-specific solutions and successful implementations. He highlighted that in the AI era, Huawei Cloud is pioneering AI compute and technologies and empowers every customer to become an intelligence pioneer in their own industry. Looking ahead, Huawei Cloud will dive deeper into industries, innovate in cloud architecture, methodologies, processes, tools, solutions and operational excellence to better address diverse industry needs and amplify intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n

Huawei Cloud has honed its AI capabilities to play a significant role in public services, finance, automotive, manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals, Internet and more. For instance, in manufacturing, the Huawei Cloud Pangu model has helped Shanghai Baowu Steel enhance the accuracy of hot rolling production predictions by 5%, boosting the annual revenue of each production line. In public services, the National Library of Chile utilised Huawei Cloud AI Compute Service to develop Latin America’s first bilingual virtual human in English and Spanish, providing visitors with innovative services like cultural tours and heritage interpretation. In the retail and e-commerce sectors, Rainbow has developed the ‘Lark Retail Model’ based on the Pangu model, which is applied in scenarios such as employee AI assistant and market operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its mission to advance industry intelligence, Huawei Cloud is dedicated to leveraging its strengths and expertise to empower customers and partners to easily build solutions tailored to their specific industry needs. To achieve this, Huawei Cloud focuses on innovation in four key areas: cloud architecture, methods, processes, tools, solutions, and operational excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the cloud architecture, Huawei Cloud enables customers to establish a robust cloud foundation with ease for their global business through cutting-edge solutions like hybrid cloud and cloud-edge\/cloud-cloud\/cloud-machine collaboration. Huawei Cloud Stack offers industry-leading hybrid cloud infrastructure, supporting mission-critical operations in sectors such as finance. CloudPond, a dedicated Edge cloud solution with integrated hardware and software, allows for deployment of cloud services wherever customers need, enhancing operational efficiency and safeguarding local data integrity. CloudDevice leverages cloud-device collaboration to offload computational tasks from endpoint devices, thereby reducing their workload. Furthermore, the CloudRobo embodied AI platform harnesses the power of cloud computing and advanced AI models to empower robots with enhanced intelligence and decision-making capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of methods, processes and tools, drawing on its own digital and intelligent transformation experiences and industry best practices, Huawei Cloud has collaborated with customers, partners and experts to develop robust intelligent implementation methodologies and Enterprise Architecture Bench (EAB). Huawei Cloud outlines seven essential steps: AI high-level design, high-value scenario identification, architecture and process reshaping, data and knowledge engineering, model design and verification, business operation integration and continuous operations and governance. With open EAB tools, enterprises can precisely assess the value of intelligent scenarios, design 4A architectures, manage intelligent solution delivery in one stop and deploy intelligent solutions swiftly and effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of solutions, Huawei Cloud has officially launched a suite of innovative industry solutions, spanning critical sectors such as government, finance, Internet, retail, automotive and manufacturing. A suite of 12 solutions are tailored for global markets, including Huawei Cloud Government Data Enablement Solution, Tongdun’s Financial Risk Management Solution, Huawei Cloud Intelligent E-commerce Search and Recommendation Solution, Techsun Social Hub.AI Solution, Stardust AI Data Platform for All Industries and CONTACT Software Elements Platform Solution. For the Chinese market, Huawei Cloud launched Game Deployment Solution, CloudVeo Intelligent Driving Cloud Service, Intelligent Financial Risk Control Solution, Financial Intelligent Marketing Solution, AI Pharmaceutical Research Solution, AI CITY, AI Trusted Data Space and Corporate Cloud, boosting efficiency and innovation across diverse phases from R&D, production, to service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of operational excellence, Huawei Cloud’s operational excellence and customer success team has collaborated with customers on over 200 projects in the past two years, implementing architectural excellence to help build resilient, intelligent businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the summit, leading global enterprises from various industries shared their experiences and achievements in innovation on Huawei Cloud, Digital Transformation and business growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ji Jun, Deputy Director of the Intelligent Digitalisation Institute at XCMG Research Institute, outlined XCMG’s product intelligence strategy. The integration of AI into manufacturing is the ongoing trend and the path forward for XCMG’s future. By collaborating closely with Huawei Cloud, XCMG has made great progress and breakthroughs in unmanned vehicles and autonomous operation, laying a robust foundation for turning XCMG machinery into embodied AI robots that will establish a benchmark for the intelligent mining equipment industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faraz Arshad, CTO of Starzplay, stated that with its serverless scalability, solid cloud foundation and advanced intelligent capabilities, Huawei Cloud has enabled Starzplay to develop a high-performance content distribution and intelligent operations platform. This collaboration has notably enhanced user experience and accelerated the innovation and scale growth of streaming media in the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anders Freitas, a Cloud Specialist from Ita\u00fa Unibanco in Brazil, underlined that Huawei Cloud has built a solid cloud foundation with security and automation capabilities to accelerate their cloud migration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mi Qipei, Chief Product Officer of Gaoding (Xiamen) Technology, revealed that the company leverages Huawei Cloud AI Tokens Service to craft an AI-driven creativity community for designers.
