PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA), Indonesia\u2019s largest private bank, has been awarded a 2025 Cloudera Data Impact Award for its successful modernisation of Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure and data operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Serving more than 33 million customers and generating over US$2 billion in annual revenue, BCA relies heavily on advanced technology to support its scale. In recent years, however, the bank faced growing challenges including model degradation, slow manual deployments, inefficient virtual machine (VM) usage and limited monitoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To overcome these issues, BCA adopted Cloudera\u2019s on-premises and AI platforms, transforming its VM-based workflows into a scalable, centrally governed MLOps environment. Using Cloudera AI Workbench for experimentation and deployment, paired with Cloudera AI Registry for model versioning and monitoring, the bank embedded automated ML lifecycle management across its teams. CI\/CD pipelines, continuous monitoring and automated retraining now enable faster, more reliable model delivery with stronger governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The modernisation effort has significantly improved operational efficiency, reduced manual workloads and enhanced resource utilisation. With its new ML infrastructure, BCA is positioned to continue serving its expanding customer base while capitalising on new digital and social-driven growth opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
