Infosys, a global leader in AI-first business consulting and technology services, has announced the expansion of its Indore Development Centre (DC) with the inauguration of a new Software Development Block (SDB-2) at its campus in the Super Corridor, Indore. The new 330,000-sq. ft. block further strengthens Infosys\u2019 presence in Central India and its commitment to the region\u2019s growing technology and talent ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Infosys Indore currently has more than 3,300 employees supporting global clients across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Retail, Life Sciences and Manufacturing. The expanded centre will strengthen Infosys\u2019 capabilities in cloud, application development, AI and Machine Learning and cybersecurity to address evolving client requirements. The expansion will also enable Infosys to tap into Central India\u2019s growing talent pool. Infosys plans to deepen its engagement with Madhya Pradesh\u2019s academic and technology ecosystem through skilling programmes and institutional partnerships, including engagement with IIT Indore, IIM Indore and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new building is aligned with Infosys\u2019 ESG commitments and high-performance green building standards, and the centre is designed to be environmentally friendly and energy efficient. It incorporates features like low-energy cooling, smart building automation, rainwater harvesting and wastewater recycling. The facility will also be enabled with amenities such as flexible workstations, training facilities and wellness centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
