When cyberattacks or other disruptions inevitably strike these international platforms, with no local, sovereign networks, infrastructure or methods to fall back on, we\u2019re at the whim of clean-up and remedial measures taking place half a world away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn Australia we have some of the greatest data and security skills in the world, but we don\u2019t leverage them nearly enough to help us connect with each other and with the wider world.
