Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Paris-Orly (ORY), France\u2019s two largest airports managed by Groupe ADP, have modernised their operations with Extreme Networks\u2019 advanced connectivity solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As air travel reached record highs in 2024, French airports turned to cutting-edge networking technology to ensure seamless passenger experiences, enhanced security and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In partnership with SPIE ICS, CDG and ORY have integrated Extreme Fabric, ExtremeCloud IQ and Universal hardware to streamline connectivity for millions of travellers and thousands of airline staff. The airports recently executed a network upgrade, replacing outdated switches across 700 technical locations without disrupting 24\/7 operations. This overhaul has improved bandwidth by 10 to 25 times, standardised technical processes and increased energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
