However, funding remained heavily concentrated, with 73% of capital going to 38 companies that secured rounds worth US$100 million or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Six European start-ups joined the billion-dollar-plus funding club during the period, including autonomous driving developer Wayve, drug discovery specialist Isomorphic Labs, robotics company Neura Robotics and Advanced Machine Intelligence, a physical AI laboratory co-founded by Yann LeCun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UK remained Europe\u2019s largest AI investment hub, attracting US$12 billion, equivalent to 53% of regional funding. Germany secured US$3.5 billion while France attracted US$2.9 billion. The Netherlands also gained momentum, supported by major rounds including CuspAI\u2019s US$450 million Series B and General Intuition\u2019s US$320 million Series A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding disparities persisted. Since 2023, AI start-ups with at least one female founder represented 18% of completed deals but received only 10% of capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Crunchbase forecasts continued activity across the sector.
