VIRTUS Data Centres (VIRTUS), a data centre developer-operator and part of the STTGDC Group, has announced the successful completion of a \u00a32.45 billion financing package. The capital provides a long-term funding framework to support the continued development and expansion of VIRTUS\u2019 data centres across the UK and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The package, one of the largest data centre bank financings completed in the UK to date, demonstrates strong lender confidence in VIRTUS, its operating platform and long-term growth prospects. The \u00a32.45 billion of committed funding includes a \u00a31.2 billion green capex facility, available through both term and revolving tranches, providing flexibility to fund expansion and support its growth ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The financing provides a framework to support the next phase of expansion. This includes the development of the company\u2019s 78 MW, AI-ready Saunderton campus in Buckinghamshire, future investment in LONDON19 in Slough and ongoing expansion across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
