VEON Ltd., a leading global provider of connectivity and Internet services headquartered in Amsterdam and serving more than 240 million customers, has announced that Kyivstar, its wholly-owned and market-leading subsidiary in Ukraine, has secured one of three licenses to provide nationwide 4G\/LTE services, subject to final regulatory approvals. Kyivstar will pay UAH 0.9 billion (approximately USD 32.2 million) for 2×15 MHz of contiguous frequency in the 2600 MHz band.<\/p>\n
