Cybercrime is a threat that no business today can afford to ignore. Verizon\u2019s 2018 Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR)<\/a><\/em> reported that ransomware attacks have grown significantly since last year\u2019s DBIR.<\/p>\n

Employees are falling victim to social attacks, such as financial pretexting and phishing which represent 98% of social incidents and 93% of all breaches analysed. However, a new service from Verizon \u2013 Verizon\u2019s Threat Intelligence Platform Service \u2013 now enables companies to better hunt and confront cyberthreats head on.<\/p>\n

The subscription-based service combines unparalleled cyberthreat intelligence from Verizon\u2019s 11-year DBIR series with cybersituational awareness from Verizon’s Threat Research Advisory Centre, which tracks threats across Verizon\u2019s own global IP backbone.<\/p>\n

This threat intelligence is delivered via the Anomali Threat Platform to offer current information on cyberthreats. These can then be analysed by experienced consultants from Verizon\u2019s professional services team\u00a0in-situ\u00a0at the customer\u2019s site, depending on the level of service desired, so they can identify threats early in the cyberkill chain and determine the best course of combative action.<\/p>\n

The cyberthreat intelligence service is delivered via the Anomali Threat Platform, which offers a \u2018mission control centre\u2019 to automate the collection and integration of threat intelligence and enable security teams to quickly and efficiently analyse and respond to threats.<\/p>\n
