Synopsys has published an eBook which chronicles six security issues a CISO might face \u2013 and offers advice on how to prevent them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The central character of the eBook \u2013 which is titled The CISO\u2019s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day <\/em>\u2013 is Alex, the CISO at mobile app start-up FilmFestFun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex is having a very bad day. In the run-up to his company launching their new app, everything that could go wrong has gone wrong \u2013 and then some.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The train\u2019s late. The build keeps failing. The pen tester\nfinds hundreds of bugs. Alex tries explaining to CEO Kyla that releasing an app\nwith critical vulnerabilities is a very bad move.
