XConnect appoints Jose Augusto Vilhena to support growing messaging and voice demand

XConnect, a Somos Company and provider of world-class numbering intelligence solutions, has expanded its presence in Latin America (LATAM) with the appointment of new Business Development Consultant, Jose Augusto Vilhena.

Vilhena will support XConnect’s LATAM customers as the region experiences rapid growth in the telecoms industry. The strategic new hire will enable XConnect to build a strong foothold in LATAM to allow its customers to terminate voice and messaging traffic with confidence and ease.

By growing its on-the-ground footprint in LATAM, XConnect is empowering carriers to tackle the top telecoms challenges, including Origin Based Rating (OBR) surcharges, robocalling and Communications Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS) fraud.

Previous to his appointment at XConnect, Vilhila worked with technology and telecom organizations ranging from start-ups to multinational companies, including AMDOCS and iconectiv. He brings to XConnect over 20 years of international business development and sales experience in the telecom and technology verticals in LATAM.
