Tyre manufacturer Titan has digitally transformed its Brazilian operation through the deployment of Dassault Syst\u00e8mes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Titan, a global pioneer in the production and sale of agricultural tyres, has announced the deployment of Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u2019 3DEXPERIENCE platform to conduct the Digital Transformation of its Brazilian operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company has made an important journey to exchange its product specification legacy system and to implement new technologies to optimize its manufacturing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Titan had the great challenge of updating its technological infrastructure to an \u2018Industry Renaissance\u2019 standard, without interrupting the operation of its business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company sought to make its production more efficient with the support of suppliers specialized in Digital Transformation and user-friendly technologies that can follow the entire tyre manufacturing journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dassault Syst\u00e8mes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform was chosen to be the basis of this new infrastructure and its customization capabilities were perfect for Titan\u2019s specific manufacturing needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The implementation also included the migration of the previous specification system, the automation of processes and integration with the company’s ERP business management system to maintain the digital continuity of its data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The migration required a detailed approach so the company\u2019s 25-year history – which includes information from the time when the operation was still under the Goodyear brand \u2013 would be protected and migrated to the new environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides that, it was necessary to keep Titan’s operation running without interruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Now, with Dassault Syst\u00e8mes’ solutions, Titan is even more prepared to stand out in the global market, with greater freedom to adapt its product portfolio and make any parameter adjustments that are necessary for its manufacturing strategy through more user-friendly applications,” said Meire Sant\u00f3rio, Senior Quality and Technology Manager at Titan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Rodrigo Baptista, Director of Business Transformation at Dassault Syst\u00e8mes for Latin America, the 3DEXPERIENCE platform features have met Titan’s needs in respect of people, processes and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The complexity of the project was solved by a team of professionals from Dassault Syst\u00e8mes from Brazil, the US, India and its partner MULTITTECH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately 300 Titan employees were trained in a short period of time thanks to the new features offered by the platform, that are much more intuitive than previous systems. This entire team is now able to monitor all stages of tyre manufacturing, with greater visibility of each process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
