Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions has expanded its Mexico City operations, reinforcing its long-term commitment to retailers across Mexico and Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The enhanced regional headquarters in the Polanco district includes renovated offices, a state-of-the-art product showroom and a new Technology Demonstration Center showcasing Toshiba’s retail hardware and the ELERA Commerce Platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investment marks a significant milestone in Toshiba’s 25-year presence in Mexico and supports the company’s strategy of combining global innovation with local expertise. Nearly 40% of Toshiba’s employees across the Americas are based in Mexico, including one of the company’s largest software development centres in Guadalajara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Retailers across Latin America are navigating increasing complexity, and they deserve a technology partner who reinforces global innovation with local expertise. This investment is about giving retailers across the region what they need to grow and lead,” said Rance Poehler, President and CEO, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manuel Medecigo, VP Sales LATAM, Toshiba, said the company’s expanding regional team reflects its commitment to long-term growth. He said the new Technology Demonstration Center will strengthen collaboration with customers while highlighting the value of Toshiba’s solutions and support capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Toshiba continues to work with major retailers across the region. PriceSmart is modernising front-end operations for warehouse club members using ELERA. Calimax is enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency through Toshiba self-checkout technology.
