Motive has highlighted a series of major mobile connectivity deployments across Latin America at M360 LATAM in Mexico City, demonstrating how operators are using its technology to support satellite communications, eSIM adoption and secure authentication services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company showcased implementations of its Entitlement Server platform across several of the region\u2019s largest telecommunications providers, including Claro, Vivo and Entel. The platform provides authentication, provisioning and connectivity management for mobile networks, supporting Apple, Android and emerging satellite-based services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLatin America has some of the world\u2019s most demanding connectivity challenges: Remote geographies, fraud ecosystems exploiting legacy authentication and eSIM adoption curves outpacing operator infrastructure,\u201d said Jay McMullan, VP Sales, Americas, Motive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the most significant deployments involved Entel Chile, which became the first mobile operator in Latin America to deliver commercial mobile services via Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. According to Motive, the service reached more than 450,000 users during its first month, extending connectivity to remote areas including Patagonia and isolated coastal communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Brazil, Vivo launched SIM-Based Silent Authentication through the GSMA Open Gateway framework, replacing SMS one-time passwords with cryptographic SIM verification. The operator serves more than 117.4 million subscribers and became the first in the region to deploy the capability commercially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Claro Brazil also introduced iOS eSIM Quick Transfer using Motive technology. The operator reported 63% year-over-year growth in eSIM downloads and average month-on-month adoption growth of 15%, with Android support already being expanded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
