Mexico is also attracting investment as adoption of digital platforms and emerging technologies accelerates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colombia is strengthening its technology infrastructure, with Claro investing more than US$200 million in fibre-optic expansion to support advanced services including AI. Chile continues to develop its technology ecosystem through policies focused on digital skills and cybersecurity, while Argentina is positioning itself as a potential global AI hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sustainability is becoming increasingly important as operators seek access to renewable power and more efficient infrastructure. Chile and Mexico are targeting carbon neutrality by 2050, while Colombia aims to increase renewable energy\u2019s contribution to its energy mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Major investors active across the region include Ascenty, Cirion Technologies, Elea Data Centers, Equinix, KIO Data Centers, ODATA and Scala Data Centers.
