Digital Travel Declaration will support Jamaica\u2019s Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) in clearing passengers for travel pre-departure, supporting a safe, streamlined return to international travel in a country where tourism is a key contributor to the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After having seen visitor numbers plunge by more than half in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jamaica is well on its way to a full recovery of its tourism sector. As passenger volumes surge across the globe, SITA\u2019s Digital Travel Declaration will help travelers avoid long queues at the airport, automating verification processes and certifying that they have the right documents to travel before they even arrive at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
