iProtoXi launches Aistin IoTLAB in the Middle East

iProtoXi, a global Internet of Things (IoT) services, customisable platform and application provider, has launched the iProtoXi Aistin IoTLAB – a full stack IoT and AI platform that accelerates a new product idea from proof of concept (PoC) to pilot and production stage in a structured and defined way in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

With Aistin IoTLAB, iProtoXi is now providing the latest and best-of-breed device, mobile application, connectivity and cloud platform enabling its customers to accelerate their go-to-market and shorten the product time to market.

According to the Finland-based vendor that designs and develops innovative, modular, energy efficient industrial IoT solutions and wearable tech including design services and cloud-ready platforms, the transformative nature of Aistin IoTLAB platform is suited to any industry that has embarked on a Digital Transformation journey.

Janne Kallio, CEO and Co-Founder, iProtoXi, said the company will be driving the marketing and sales of the platform through the region’s leading IT and technology distribution companies and channel partners.

“Our focus in the initial phase is the GCC region with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) targeted for Aistin IoTLAB’s launch in the Middle East,” he said.

Kallio said iProtoXi has appointed Vendor Junction as its regional office for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) and South Asia. “Vendor Junction will be responsible for Aistin IoTLAB in MEA and the South Asia channel from appointing IT distributors, developing the sales channel in partnership with distributors, marketing, certified trainings and local tech support. In addition, Vendor Junction will drive the Aistin IoTLAB sales in collaboration with its channel partners,” he said.

Kallio added that with Vendor Junction’s more than 20 years experience with ICT distributors, global tech vendors, channel eco-system development and management, and their reputation in working with technology companies in Scandinavia, iProtoXi has partnered with the most fitting company to develop its business and solution offerings in the MEA and South Asia markets.

Sayed Jawed, Founder and CEO, Vendor Junction, said the company’s consultative and collaborative sales approach will help distribution partners identify and qualify sales opportunities from IoT centric system integrators, value-added resellers (VARs) and the solution provider base with customers and use cases in a multitude of sectors such as universities and colleges, ICT incubation hubs, government, utilities, telecoms and the start-up community.

“Some of the top use cases that we see in the Middle East regions are in higher education research, asset management, industrial IoT, AgTech, Smart City initiatives and building automation systems,” he said.

Jawed explained that Vendor Junction anticipates a cautious adoption rate that can be attributed to the current Coronavirus pandemic but opportunity for growth will ramp up as businesses and organisations in the GCC and Middle East are rapidly transforming themselves.

“This transformation will be driven largely by digitalisation, changes in institutional and consumer acceptance and evolving definitions of work and how business is conducted,” he noted. “We see our biggest opportunities coming from the connectivity, IoT and smart mobility technology clusters as reported by McKinsey & Company.”

He pointed out that by aligning with IT and technology distributors, the company will enable higher education institutions, government entities, corporate firms, SMEs and start-up companies to achieve parts of their Digital Transformation journey in a cost efficient, time bound, secure and reliable way using the iProtoXi Aistin IoTLAB platform solution.

iProtoXi’s Aistin IoTLAB is a state-of-the-art, all-in-one professional IoT platform solution ready for deployment. With Aistin IoTLAB, an organisation can start its own IoT deployment with versatile Aistin sensor devices and acquire data to the cloud for further analysis and development of AI capabilities and outcomes.

Sankalp Dhavale, Technical and Channel Manager, Vendor Junction, said that Aistin IoTLAB addresses both device and cloud security.

“With secure OTA, only Aistin IoTLAB certified firmware can be installed. The firmware and device software update process and route is secured and protected. Firmware of the IoT sensors is read protected and cannot be copied, cloned or modified,” he said.

Dhavale reiterated that by default, device hacking and installation of non-certified firmware is prevented as this is critical in today’s IoT deployments.
