‘Fibre Checker’ option is available on BNET’s website in Bahrain

Bahrain’s National Broadband Network (BNET), responsible for providing broadband network services across the Kingdom of Bahrain, has unveiled a ‘Fibre Checker’ service on their website www.bnet.com that allows a transparent view of fibre-optic connection availability across Bahrain.

The advancement is a step forward in the company’s strategy to provide broadband Internet services across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Fibre Checker service, available to individuals and business owners, will allow citizens and residents of the Kingdom to view fibre-optic availability across all areas of Bahrain via accessing BNET’s website and entering their full address. Users will then receive a message informing them of fibre-optic availability at the entered address and request that they visit their preferred telecom operator to subscribe for the service at areas of availability. Should the service prove unavailable, users are urged to contact their preferred operator in order to raise a request.

Mohamed Bubashait, CEO, BNET, said Bahrain’s National Broadband Company is delighted to launch the Fibre Checker feature on its new website as it grants users in the Kingdom an opportunity to ascertain the availability of fibre-optic connections in their areas. This feature aims to enhance customer experience when applying for the fibre-optic service from any of the licensed operators across the Kingdom.”

“Launching the Fibre Checker feature reaffirms our strategy to offer integrated services to users benefitting from the fibre-optic network. With this new checker, everyone can have instant and transparent access to information about the reach of our fibre-optic network. This allows users to make installation decisions instantly,” he said. “Establishing a nationwide fibre-optic network is our priority and falls in line with BNET’s vision to enable licensed operators in Bahrain to deliver the latest high-speed fibre-optic services to 100% of all businesses and 95% of all households across the Kingdom

Through the Fibre Checker feature, applicants for fibre services will now be able to ensure service availability at their chosen addresses, allowing them to select a package that best suits their needs from any licensed operator in the Kingdom.
