Specialised cyber and cloud VAD StarLink, has unveiled two key initiatives at the Annual Partner Summit 2021 held on April 8th 2021.
The VAD used the event to launch the StarLink Intelligent Automation business unit which aims to support the channel and end customers with industry specific digital solutions using cognitive automation, advanced analytics, AI and other digital technologies powered by leading vendors in this domain.
In addition, StarLink also launched a home-grown SASE platform – SecurEdge, a flexible and effortless security offering for small businesses, which provides customised solutions for a secure and enhanced cybersecurity infrastructure.
Zaidoun Arbad, COO, StarLink opened the session and shared the company’s vision and channel-focused roadmap for 2021 that partners could benefit from to grow and remain competitive.
Arbad said: “StarLink has always been ‘future-ready’ at every stage in the evolution of the distribution landscape and it is no different when it comes to our partner collaboration. Our aim is to grow stronger together, maintain continuous momentum and equip our channel community with the right tools and initiatives to progress and become profitable. It was indeed a pleasure to host our esteemed partners and we took the opportunity to felicitate 17 top partners for their outstanding contribution and support in 2020.”
“At StarLink, we strongly believe that staying innovative is the key to being relevant and with our Intelligent Automation unit, we enter into a new era of innovation,” said Nidal Othman, CEO, StarLink. “Undoubtedly, enterprises can redefine their business with AI and Automation, and achieve unprecedent levels of efficiency and quality. Early adopters will be able to stay ahead of the curve and we aim to be there to support them in this endeavor.”
Othman added that: “Onboarding vendors such as BMC and Blue Prism, leaders in intelligent service management and robotic process automation are amongst the many to follow, as we build a cohesive Intelligent Automation ecosystem. We are looking forward to expanding in this domain and build a strong foothold in the region.”
Mahmoud Nimer, President, StarLink, said: “When the crisis emerged, large enterprises were quick with cloud adoption to facilitate their remote workforce and business continuity plans. However, SMBs had a tough time making this switch especially due to lack of substantial budgets. With SecurEdge SASE platform hosted on AWS, we bring in a simplified security model that is subscription-based, scalable on a ‘pay as you grow’ basis and powered by best-of-breed technologies that caters to email, endpoint and network security which we look forward to promote and sell through our channel community.”
This year’s event was delivered virtually and saw over 350 partners joining in from across the MENA region.Click below to share this article
