Eaton promotes sustainability and hyper-efficiency

Power management solution company Eaton is at the 41st edition of GITEX Technology Week to address efficiency issues in data centres and to get organisations across the Middle East to be ready for and contribute to the energy transition.

According to the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) maker, this is crucial as it holds the key to sustainability and hyper-efficiency and enables the decarbonisation of electricity. However, the vendor stated that for this to happen, the traditional role of the electrical infrastructure must change, transform and become energy aware.

Ashraf Yehia, Managing Director, Eaton Middle East, said during the past 20 months, restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic have affected the participation of in-person events and exhibitions. Yehia said GITEX 2021 is an excellent opportunity to meet channel partners and customers, and engage with new clients for future business growth. “Eaton representatives will be at GITEX to discuss data centre safety, sustainability and resilience, and its 2021 plans for growth in the Middle East,” he said. “Eaton will also showcase live demos of its unique range of products, including its digital solutions and UPS offerings and white space solutions.”

He pointed out that the transformation is achieved by taking a true end to end systems approach to data centre design – within the four walls and beyond.
