The Musandam Governor’s Office has signed a co-operation agreement with Oman Data Park (ODP) to use the company’s cloud services to host the governorate data centre.

The agreement was signed in the pursuit of the governorate keeping pace with technological developments.

In accordance with the agreement, ODP will create and host the domain name and email IDs for the Governorate of Musandam. It will also set an official electronic address for the governorate to be used by visitors and beneficiaries of its electronic services.

Additionally, ODP will create an email ID for each governorate employee, allowing them to communicate with each other and with others, as well as ensuring the safe hosting of the governorate’s data. The company will provide continuous technical support to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of government work, as well as ensuring the smooth running of its transactions. The agreement was signed by His Excellency Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidy, Governor of the Musandam Governorate, and Eng. Maqbool bin Salem Al Wahaibi, CEO of the ODP Company.
