Careem, the MENA region\u2019s car booking app, announced its partnership with Etisalat as it launches its new payment platform \u2013 Careem Wallet<\/em> – for booking car rides. Careem Wallet allows the company\u2019s customers to pay for car rides using Etisalat\u2019s Reward points or choose to earn Etisalat Reward points as they use Careemservices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Etisalat, the telecoms operator in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, is the first partner to integrate into the \u2018Careem Wallet\u2019. The announcement is the first of its kind in a series of several partnerships which the car hailing booking app is currently working on to integrate into its new platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

Khaled ElKhouly, Chief Consumer Officer at Etisalat said, \u201cWe are excited to offer our Rewards members an innovative means to earn and burn Etisalat Reward points in partnership with Careem. Now our members can enjoy free taxi rides by simply redeeming their accumulated reward points or earn more reward points every time onboard a Careem taxi. This is yet another endeavour from us to provide enhanced value to our customers for being with Etisalat.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The process is simple, all customers have to do is go to the \u2018Wallet\u2019 screen inside their CAREEM app, select our partner Etisalat on the Top-up section, use their phone number to log into their Etisalat account where they will find their total Etisalat Rewards points, which can be completely or partially redeemed into Careem\u00a0credits. To earn Etisalat rewards points, simply click on Etisalat on the \u2018Earn rewards\u2019 and enjoy accumulating points with every CAREEM ride.<\/span><\/p>\n
