DarkMatter, an international cyber security firm headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, has announced a\u00a0partnership agreement with Microsoft Gulf to deliver advanced cyber security solutions to public sector clients in the UAE and wider Gulf region.<\/span><\/p>\n

By bringing together the high-level capabilities of DarkMatter and Microsoft Gulf, this agreement delivers a unique, high-end cyber security offering. Clients will benefit from DarkMatter\u2019s ability to deliver state-of-the-art, end-to-end digital defence capabilities across heterogeneous environments and technologies, as well as from Microsoft Gulf\u2019s unparalleled expertise in software and cyber security architecture and solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The agreement addresses the entire cyber security project life-cycle, including design, implementation, audit, assessment and review.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, countries in the Gulf face a growing number of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. This requires a clear, proactive response from national authorities, given the strategic importance of the region to the world\u2019s energy supply, but also because ambitious smart city initiatives and expanded eGovernment and mGovernment services are being pursued in earnest across the region and require protection.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commenting on the agreement, which represents Microsoft Gulf\u2019s first partnership in the Gulf region focused on cyber security solutions and workloads, Rabih Dabboussi, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, for DarkMatter, said, \u201cTogether with Microsoft Gulf, we are providing a solution that aligns with the UAE\u2019s vision to adopt cutting-edge digital infrastructure, smart city and smart government programmes that create an enabling environment for the knowledge economy to thrive. Through this partnership DarkMatter and Microsoft Gulf will help public sector clients address security in a more agile manner, thereby letting them focus on providing the highest possible levels of service.
