Genetec, the global leader in enterprise physical security software, has demonstrated the latest innovations in unified physical security during Intersec 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As organisations across the Middle East continue to modernise and scale security operations across expanding urban, commercial and critical infrastructure environments, physical security is increasingly being treated as a strategic function that supports stronger collaboration, improved operational awareness and more informed decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This shift is reinforced by findings from 2026 State of Physical Security Report<\/em>, Genetec\u2019s sixth annual study, based on insights from more than 7,300 physical security professionals worldwide. The report shows that modernisation is accelerating as demand for unified systems grows. More than 70% of respondents report using unified or integrated systems, while 60% say their primary motivation for replacing legacy technology is to integrate new capabilities. A further 51% cite access to new features as a key driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The report also highlights rising expectations around vendor trust and long-term partnership, with 73% of end-users saying vendor viability and stability are critical factors when evaluating solutions. At the same time, interest in AI continues to grow, with AI now emerging as a top project priority for 2026. Interest in adopting AI has more than doubled among end-users since last year\u2019s report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the Intersec 2026 event, Genetec showcased a suite of innovations designed to support the Middle East\u2019s rapid infrastructure expansion and smart city ambitions, while addressing complex security challenges such as protecting critical assets, including oil and gas facilities, urban mega-projects and tourism hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Security Center SaaS, expanded intrusion management and Cloudlink 210<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Visitors were able to see demonstrations of the latest version of Security Center SaaS, including new intrusion management capabilities, alongside the Genetec Cloudlink\u2122 210 appliance.
