Cloudera will showcase its hybrid data and AI capabilities at GITEX Global 2026, highlighting how organisations in the Middle East can overcome data silos, strengthen governance and support sovereign AI deployments.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloudera has announced its participation at GITEX Global 2026, where it will demonstrate how enterprises can address data governance challenges and accelerate the adoption of sovereign AI across the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Artificial Intelligence adoption accelerates across the region, organisations are facing increasing pressure to ensure their data is accessible, secure and properly governed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For businesses managing sensitive information, decisions about where AI workloads operate and how data is managed across public cloud, private cloud and on-premises environments are becoming increasingly important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UAE’s focus on sovereign AI and secure digital infrastructure is being supported by national digital-first initiatives and government requirements for sovereign cloud adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to research from GMI Research, the UAE’s cloud computing market is projected to reach US$23 billion by 2032.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside government initiatives, private sector organisations are increasingly adopting data sovereignty principles, with some looking to move AI workloads from public cloud environments into private cloud or on-premises infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, these transitions can expose underlying architectural challenges, particularly where legacy systems have left valuable enterprise information distributed across disconnected data silos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloudera’s recent Data Readiness Index<\/em> highlights the scale of the challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although 91% of IT leaders across EMEA expressed confidence in their data, only 26% reported that their data was fully governed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The findings suggest a significant gap between organisations’ confidence in their information assets and their readiness to use that data effectively for enterprise AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To address these challenges, Cloudera is promoting Cloudera Anywhere Cloud, a modular hybrid platform designed to support data management and AI workloads across different infrastructure environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform is intended to help organisations overcome fragmented data architectures while maintaining control over where information is stored, processed and governed.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cloudera is also expanding its technology ecosystem through strategic alliances, including a collaboration with Mistral AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership is intended to support the development of hybrid data foundations that enable enterprises to deploy advanced AI capabilities while retaining greater control over their infrastructure and information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported by Cloudera Anywhere Cloud, the approach aims to provide Middle Eastern organisations with a secure, localised environment for scaling AI workloads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is particularly relevant to businesses operating in sectors where data sovereignty, regulatory compliance and information security influence technology deployment decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By supporting AI across hybrid and sovereign environments, Cloudera aims to help enterprises make greater use of existing data assets without requiring all workloads to operate in public cloud infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At GITEX Global 2026, the company will present live demonstrations illustrating how organisations can address persistent data governance and architectural challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The demonstrations will focus on enabling enterprises to use AI securely within their own environments while improving access to information held across different systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
