Pure Storage, a leading independent all-flash data platform vendor for the cloud era, has announced \u00a0it has improved its position within the Leaders Quadrant of the Gartner\u2019 July 2017 Magic Quadrant for Solid State Arrays<\/a> (SSAs).<\/p>\n

For the fourth consecutive year, Pure Storage is positioned furthest along the \u2018Completeness of Vision\u2019 axis in the Leaders Quadrant.<\/p>\n

In the past year, Pure Storage has continued to innovate at a breakneck pace. In October 2016, Pure Storage introduced a petabyte-scale<\/a> configuration of its flagship FlashArray\/\/M family and significantly expanded its collaboration<\/a> with Cisco to enhance the companies\u2019 joint FlashStack converged infrastructure platform.<\/p>\n

Cisco and Pure Storage have developed Cisco Validated Designs for FlashStack that include Citrix, Commvault, Oracle, SAP and VMware.<\/p>\n

The joint FlashStack solution has thousands of deployments in more than 30 countries and continues to have triple digit growth year over year. FlashStack customers span industries including retail, healthcare, education, financial services and service providers.<\/p>\n

Notable customers include Room & Board, Dominos, Texas Children\u2019s Hospital and Secure-24.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the company continued to invest in improvements to its Evergreen Storage programme, which now includes an NVMe-ready guarantee<\/a>. In April, Pure Storage announced the market\u2019s first<\/a> enterprise-class, all-flash, all-NVMe array, FlashArray\/\/X.<\/p>\n

In June, the company held its second annual user conference, Pure\/\/Accelerate, where it unveiled its vision<\/a> to provide the world\u2019s most innovative organisations with the all-flash data platform for the cloud era.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Pure Storage announced a 75-blade system<\/a> and continued momentum for its second major product, FlashBlade, with cutting-edge customers like UC Berkeley, Mercedes and ION. With use cases across genomics, machine learning, AI, IoT and many more, FlashBlade powers today\u2019s most complex workloads and enables tomorrow\u2019s world-changing innovations.<\/p>\n
