Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) has held the \u2018Cyber\nDefense Challenge\u2019, in partnership with Trend Micro, to strengthen the protection\nof servers and hybrid cloud data centres operated by organisations in Abu Dhabi.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initiative comes in line with ADDA\u2019s strategy to\ncollaborate with the private sector and enhance cybersecurity which is one of\nthe main pillars of Abu Dhabi\u2019s Digital Transformation agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ADDA\nand Trend Micro have signed a MoU to adopt the latest cybersecurity solutions\nand conduct a series of awareness workshops for IT government employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ADDA\nimplements a common security transformation framework for all Abu Dhabi\ngovernment entities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cyber Defense Challenge seeks to support the\ntechnical infrastructure and cyber ecosystem in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The one-day hands-on workshop led IT professionals to experience\nsimulated cyberattacks and adopt a \u2018think like a hacker\u2019 approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mohamed Geyath, Executive Director- Information Security Operation\nSector, ADDA, said: \u201cAbu Dhabi Digital Authority continues to engage in\ninitiatives that increase the IT protection of the Emirate and the country\u2019s\ndigital infrastructure, systems and data. The Cyber Defense Challenge is one of\nthe strategies that ADDA supports and promotes to help strengthen our security\ncapabilities following innovative solutions and training, and thereby enhancing\nthe skills of our human capital.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
